I’m going to be better.
My sister’s took me to a new church today. Needless to say, I really enjoyed. The message was so perfect in every way. I didn’t answer the questions on the bottom because I just don’t know where to start. But it was truly amazing.
“Don’t undermine yourself now Kendyl (: You’re fantastic, and I know that for certain. You’re one of the few people in my life that even though we might not talk on a regular basis, I know has made a huge impact on my life. That is exactly why I love you. You’re so much more than one would think. Complex yet strangely simple and it’s beautiful the way you handle yourself. I think you’ll make a great writer. I have to admit I was blown away by your tumblr post. The way you talk and express how you feel is what I strive to do on an everyday basis. I believe in you.”

Freshman year when I read Marigolds by Eugenia Collier, I told myself I would plant marigolds in my front year. And I will.
The season’s over and I remember you used to tell me to go to your games. I’m going to go to one before we leave. I promise.
SUMMER
- will have my license by then / I’LL MAKE SURE OF IT.
- hopefully get that summer job my uncle’s company or whatever offers / for resume and recommendations
- find places to volunteer at / for resume and recommendations
- study French—watching French movies in English subtitles, French radio, buy French books (who am I kidding though, I most likely won’t LOL) / because I love French and if I plan on taking French 4AP I’m going to have to show off my skills thoughÂ
- read read read—Christianity, mythology, literature, cultural studies, poetry, anything
- write a lot more / I tend to write less in the summer
- STAY BUSY
